Hi Waban Moms,
I would like to thank Rebecca Kramer for hosting a fun Waban Moms' Night Out on Thursday. It was great to see so many of you there (both old and new members!) If you have not come to a Night Out before, consider attending in August. It is always a great night.
I have decided that it is time for me to update our member spreadsheet. I have attached the current spread sheet (WabanMomsMembers) to this email. If your information has changed, or if you find that you are not listed, please use the ChangeForm spreadsheet that I have attached. On the ChangeForm, please include your currently listed information and then include the information as you would like it to appear. Attach the ChangeForm to an email and send it to wabanmoms@yahoo.com (All emails that go to this mailbox are read only by me and are not sent to the entire group.) My apologies if you had previously sent me your changes and it does not appear. This is my attempt to get the listing current. After I have updated the spreadsheet with all the current information, I will send it out to everyone. Thanks everyone for your help with this update.

2. Nanny available for summer part time help
My name is Carla,. and I'm currently a full time Nanny for a family here in Waban. I am looking for part time summer hours, from about 9:30-3:30 Monday through Friday.
*Note -- I will be away from August 15-30
The child that I work for, is attending day camp -- so I have a lot of free time... I also do weekends and overnights if that's ever a need. I live in, so I am here in Waban, dependable -- have my own car, and references upon request. I'm comfortable working in all situations, very open minded. I have experience with all ages of children, from newborn to college graduate!!
Many of you know may recognize me from pick up at Angier.

4. Looking for Nanny (Newton)
We have TWO childcare opportunities for one or two separate people Starting Aug or Sept 2009:
#1: AFTERNOON:
Newton family seeks a nanny to work about 17 hours per week: M-Th / 12:45 pm – 5 pm. We have two loving children (6-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy with mild special needs).
Responsibilities include: picking up children from school (one child goes to school in Newton and the other in Cambridge), bathing children after school, taking children to and from various activities, making small snacks, helping the children pick up after themselves and general light housework (i.e., vacuuming dining room and kitchen floor, cleaning dining room table, daily dishes and laundry for family, weekly grocery shopping, plus some small errands) – there is 5 hours built in each week without child responsibilities to care for the house.
#2: MORNING:
We also need childcare Monday and Thursday mornings from 7:30-9:15. Responsibilities include helping to get my son dressed, brush teeth, eat breakfast, and drive him to school in Newton.
REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH:
We are looking for a minimum of a year commitment (longer would be great!), must have a clean driving record; legal status; non-smoker (and live with non-smokers); and speak fluent English. Prior experience with special needs children a plus!

6. Next WMNO
Please mark your calendars for the next Waban Moms' Night Out (WMNO), which will be hosted by Stacie Barnes on Thursday, August 20th, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. All women in Waban are invited to attend. Please bring an appetizer, dessert, or a beverage as well as a few dollars for pizza. No RSVPs are needed. These are always fun evenings, so I hope to see you all there!
